Wow what a start Acacia has had to the Calisthenics SA Solo and Duo State Championships! Over the weekend Acacia Student’s competed in various sections including:

  • Bianca-Kate Ward (Intermediate 15/16 Years Div 2)
  • Kate Ginever (Senior Div 3)
  • Jolie Chapman (Sub Junior 9 Years Div 2)
  • Andrea Steggles (Sub Junior 9 Years Div 3)
  • Emilie Goedecke (Sub Junior 10 Years Div 2)
  • Mollie DeMasi & Millie Poole (Sub Junior 9/10 Years Duo Div 3)
  • Summer Rist & Lauren Randell (Sub Junior 9/10 Years Duo Div 3)
  • Shai Tarca & Jada Lynn (Junior 12/13 Duo Div 2)

We would also like to congratulate Miriam McKay who also competed in the Sub Junior 10 Years Div 2 Final and Shakahna Howarth who competed with Miriam in Sub Junior 9/10 Years Duo Div 3 Final. Miriam and Shakahna have recently transferred to our club and we are looking forward to working with them in our Junior Teams in 2016.

We are very proud of all students and coaches particularly Jada, Mollie & Millie and Jolie, who competed in there very first solo or duo competition and congratulations to the girls who placed in a very tough competition.

Girls your timing was amazing, we have loved watching “Team Shaida” grow together as dancers and individuals over many years and to gain 1st place at the Calisthenics SA State Championships is an amazing result.

Emilie you we fun to watch. You we given lots of challenges in your solo this year and you worked very hard to master all your new tricks! We love watching you perform and commend you on how well you tell the story of your routine through your face.
